Living in the United States I do not take this Country for granted. I understand the need to protect the borders from possible Enemy Invasion or Terrorist Attacks. This is a unfortunately a real and credible threat.
BUT NOT FROM INDIGENOUS AMERICANS!
Let us not forget that the United States of America was founded by Immigrants who in Large Part decided to Invade the Borders of America, taking land from The Native Americans, or if you will People who were Indigenous to North America. WE weren’t satisfied with the East Coat , WE had to Go Out West, and Destroy their Way of Life out there too. It was a Terrorist Attack On The Native Americans, The People who Were INDIGENOUS to North America. I suppose they should have built a WALL or something to Keep The Immigrants Out.
WHERE IS ALL THIS LEADING YOU MIGHT ASK?
Mexicans are INDIGENOUS PEOPLE . They are Native To North America, They did not Migrate to North America from another Continent, Does this fact somehow make The TRUE IMMIGRANTS uneasy, perhaps.
The sad fact is that The Indigenous Peoples, those that are TRUE NORTH AMERICANS, have it a Hell of a lot rougher than the REAL IMMIGRANTS. They often get stereotyped, lose out on opportunities, work seasonal migrant jobs that Elitist won’t work because they don’t want to get their hands dirty.
In this Day and age It is sad that The Native Americans are still Persecuted due to Ignorance and Intolerance, not to Mention Greed.
